Windows 11 version 24H2 compatibility
- Users may experience a delay in startup when launching Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Reader, or when printing from Chrome browser. Fix currently targeted for November 14 2024 release.
- Monitoring for unsecured Wi-Fi connections may trigger the Windows Location Access prompt to appear (example: Malwarebytes version 5.2.1.144 needs permission to use signals like GPS or Wi-Fi, which can be used to determine your precise location). Note: Malwarebytes does not access your device’s location. This notification is triggered because Malwarebytes uses Windows provided methods for the purpose of determining whether your Wi-Fi connection is to a secure - or insecure - access point. Fix currently targeted for November 14 2024 release.

We are actively investigating and working with Microsoft on performance issues related to the Windows 2024 Update (Windows 11 version 24H2). Users may experience a delay in startup when launching Office applications including Word and Excel.
